Melissa Suzanne George hails from Australia and is a model, actress, businesswoman and inventor. She started her career in Australia before moving to Hollywood and enjoyed great popularity. George is a Perth native who was interested initially in dance and roller skating. At the age of a young teen she began her professional career as a model and was given the Western Australia Teenage Model title in 1992. She debuted on television in the Seven Network episode of the soap opera Home and Away. Her big screen debut was on screen in Dark City, a mystery thriller. Then she played a variety of support roles in projects like Alias The Limey or Down with Love. In 2005 she made her first mainstream Hollywood appearance in The Amityville Horror remake.
